Google wants Apple to be more AR friendly , as for now Google is focusing on the dual camera phones to get the best of augmented reality . As we know the iPhone's one of the dual camera does a best depth rendering so with the upcoming AR feature by Google the iPhone's dual camera can handle the depth information of the augmented reality very gently .
There are some limitations yet , as above said Google will not support its AR on all the dual camera devices. Google's own pixel 4 and 4a which support ARcore may soon get roll out for the new feature of dual camera while pixel 4a and 5 5g won't be getting this feature as on of the camera uses for the wide angle and not the depth camera .
